I am getting a lot of questions about Price Matching the Staples ad @ Walmart. Specifically, can you do it? My short answer is No, becuase it requires a separate $5 minimum purchase. In addition, there is a limit of 2 $.01 itmes.Here is an excerpt from the Walmart Price Match Policy:
We DO NOT match the price in the following types of competitor ads:
- Items that require a separate purchase to get the ad price
- example: “Buy [item A] to get [item B] for $C”
Do I think there are Walmart Managers out there that will Price Match this sale? Absolutely! If you have a cart full of groceries and you are asking to price match a sale that they absolutely will lose money on, they are more likely to do it than if you have 4 packs of gum and a few $.01 items he is going to lose $4 on. I will not attempt this one but I fully understand if you do!
